MADISON & MILWAUKEE – Two attorneys from Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) have been elected to leadership positions in Wisconsin District Court Bar Associations.
Lynn M. Stathas has been named 2011-2012 President of the Western District Bar Association of Wisconsin (WDBA). Stathas has served as the WDBA President-Elect, Treasurer, and Chair of the Court Rules, Practice and Procedure Committee. The WDBA promotes the just, speedy, respectful and efficient determination of actions filed in the District Court.
Stathas is a shareholder practicing in Reinhart's Labor and Employment, Employee Benefits and Litigation Practices. Head of the firm's Litigation Practice in Madison, Stathas is recognized in Wisconsin Super Lawyers (Labor & Employment Law), Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA and is a Martindale-Hubbell AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated attorney.
Stathas is the second Reinhart attorney to serve as President of the WDBA. Reinhart's Mark A. Cameli served as President from 1998-1999.
A resident of Madison, Stathas earned her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
Allen C. Schlinsog, Jr. has been named President-Elect of the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association (EDWBA), and will become its President at the EDWBA's annual meeting in the spring of 2012. Schlinsog previously served as Treasurer and Co-Chair of the EDWBA's Programs Committee. The EDWBA is dedicated to improving the practice of attorneys appearing before the Eastern District.
Schlinsog is a shareholder in the firm's Litigation Practice and chair of its Product Liability and Safety Team. His practice focuses on defense of the industrial machinery, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Schlinsog has been recognized in Wisconsin Super Lawyers and is a Martindale-Hubbell AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated attorney.
Schlinsog is one of two Reinhart attorneys who have served in leadership positions at the EDWBA. Former Reinhart attorney, Kathy Donius, served as EDWBA President from 2004-2005 while employed with the firm.
A resident of the Town of Delafield, Schlinsog earned his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
