Ben Kurten Presents on Immigration for Local SHRM Chapter

Shareholder Ben Kurten recently presented "The Basics of Immigration Law for HR Professionals" at an event hosted by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) – Sheboygan Chapter. Ben provided an overview of the areas of immigration law most encountered by HR professionals, including identification of employment documents, common visa categories, what questions you can ask, I-9's and more. SHRM is the world's largest society of human resource professionals.

Ben is the chair of Reinhart’s Immigration Law Group and a shareholder in the firm’s Labor and Employment and International practices. He advises large multinational corporations, small private companies and individual investors on transferring international personnel, hiring foreign-born talent with hard-to-find skill sets and establishing new investment enterprises or branch operations.
