Stephen Elliott Presents on Low Income Housing Tax Credits

Reinhart Shareholder Stephen Elliott presented at the “A Home for Everyone” conference hosted by the Wisconsin Collaborative for Affordable Housing and sponsored by Baker Tilly on July 20. Baker Tilly Senior Manager Kaitlin Konyn joined Steve to present “Low Income Housing Tax Credits 101,” covering the federal low-income housing tax credit program and the motivations, incentives and pitfalls for developers, investors, lenders and communities.

A Home for Everyone is a two-day conference that convenes housing professionals to share ideas for providing access to safe and affordable housing for economically disadvantaged households in Wisconsin and eliminating homelessness. 

Steve is part of Reinhart’s Real Estate Practice, where he focuses on the development and financing of affordable housing, representing developers in more than a dozen states and partnering with clients to bring thousands of quality affordable housing units to communities that need them.
