Reinhart Welcomes Banking and Finance Associate York

MILWAUKEE – Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) welcomes associate Melissa M. York to the firm's Banking and Finance Practice.

York has worked on a variety of legal matters related to banks, bank holding companies and other companies in the financial services industry. Her work includes assisting banks and other finance companies with mergers and acquisitions, branch sales, and vendor contract negotiations; advising clients regarding mortgage regulation, consumer finance laws, and other regulatory and compliance matters; and coordinating regulatory applications required by certain state and federal banking laws.

Before joining Reinhart, York worked for a regional law firm in their banking practice and served as a legal intern at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) in Washington, D.C.

York earned her L.L.M. in International and Comparative Law, cum laude, from Duke University School of Law; her J.D., cum laude, from Duke University School of Law; and her B.A., with distinction, from the University of Minnesota.
