  3. Reinhart Shareholder Robert Sholl Elected as Fellow of the Wisconsin Law Foundation

MILWAUKEE – Robert Sholl, a shareholder in Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart)’s Labor and Employment and Litigation practices, has been elected as a Fellow of the Wisconsin Law Foundation. His election as a Fellow recognizes his significant career accomplishments and leadership and community service, as well as his exceptional legal aptitude.

The Wisconsin Law Foundation honors State Bar members who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in their legal careers, and who have also demonstrated dedication to their communities through service and leadership. Membership in the Fellows is limited to 2.5 percent of the State Bar's total membership and is reserved for those who have been nominated by their peers and elected by the Fellows Board of Trustees.

Sholl’s standing in the labor and employment law bar has been widely recognized by various national and international organizations, such as Best Lawyers® in America (including 2021 Milwaukee “Lawyer of the Year” for Employment Law – Management; 2017 Milwaukee “Lawyer of the Year” for Litigation – Labor and Employment Law) and CHAMBERS USA (named as a “Leading Lawyer for Business” for Labor & Employment).

He has also shared his knowledge of labor and employment law through writing. For nearly 30 years Sholl has co-authored a three-volume treatise for attorneys, Wisconsin Employment Law, and since 1996 has co-authored Hiring and Firing in Wisconsin, each published by the State Bar of Wisconsin. Sholl has served as Chair of the Board of the Labor & Employment Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin and as President of the Labor and Employment Relations Association (Wisconsin Chapter).

He focuses on labor and employment law at Reinhart, representing management exclusively. His practice includes workplace harassment, discrimination, non-compete agreements, and whistleblower and breach of employment contract lawsuits. He also defends employers in disputes related to employee health and safety and unemployment and worker's compensation. Sholl’s traditional labor practice encompasses labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice hearings and collective bargaining.

In addition to his legal practice, Sholl has been actively involved in the community, serving such organizations as the Milwaukee Children’s Choir, St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Three Harbors Council/Boy Scouts of America and the Milwaukee Rotary Club.
