  3. Peter Blain Named Reinhart Pro Bono Attorney of the Year

Peter C. Blain has been named the Reinhart Pro Bono Attorney of the Year.

Blain was chosen as the 2019 honoree because of his decades-long involvement with the Marquette University Volunteer Law Clinic providing legal advice to clients facing landlord-tenant and financial matters. He has also been an active participant in many community-based volunteer initiatives such as Strides Against Breast Cancer Campaign, Revitalize Milwaukee Build Block MKE, and the firm's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service.

"Pete provides an excellent example for younger attorneys to follow, both in his practice and through his dedication to making our community a better place," Janzer said. "He has been a tireless advisor to his clients through the Marquette University Volunteer Law Clinic as well as an enthusiastic member of the firm’s volunteer efforts for causes like Strides Against Breast Cancer and our annual day of service on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day."

Blain is the chair of Reinhart's Business Reorganization practice where he offers counsel to clients across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, airlines, real estate, energy, trucking and food and beverage.

Reinhart initiated its Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award program in 2009 to recognize the exceptional efforts of attorneys within the firm who demonstrate a long-standing and devoted commitment to pro bono work.
