Reinhart Attorney Katherine Kratcha recently co-wrote the article “Risks Abound: Safeguarding Health Plan Data” for the November/December issue of Benefits Magazine, published by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP). Her piece covers recent breaches in health care information privacy and compliance and rules for plan sponsors to be updated on, including HIPAA.
Katie is a member of Reinhart’s Employee Benefits Practice Group. She advises large corporate clients with self-funded benefit plans, Taft-Hartley multiemployer plans, government benefit plan sponsors, small companies and nonprofits. Her practice focuses on health and welfare benefit plans and the variety of laws and issues that affect them and their sponsors.
