Health System Innovation

Our Health Care Technology and Innovation team helps health care organizations remain innovative and competitive by guiding them through significant, impactful events such as transformative transactions or implementing new technology initiatives. We understand the significant impact that these events have on an organization, and work to skillfully advise our clients, keeping in perspective their business goals and objectives.

We help organizations form strategic alliances, as well as provide counsel on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing arrangements and other critical transactions. Our team works with academic medical centers, community hospitals and integrated health systems on strategic and technology-related initiatives and transactions, as well as technology acquisitions. In these instances, we counsel on issues that may arise when implementing health care information technology software and services.  We also advise on employee compensation and benefits, human resources and talent management.

Our experience ranges from the development of IT-based strategies to the integration of hospitals and health systems with community providers to the negotiation of long-term strategic partnerships with technology vendors. We regularly provide counsel on data use agreements, development agreements and information security agreements. Our attorneys maintain strategic relationships with health care providers and technology vendors developing innovative pilot programs and clinical trials as well as new strategies regarding reimbursement.
