Treasa Burke is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Real Estate Practice, where she delivers strategic, business-driven solutions for clients across a wide range of industries, including affordable housing, agriculture, health care, multifamily and financial services. Treasa brings a strong combination of legal insight and project management to help clients successfully navigate complex real estate sales and acquisitions, leasing transactions, development projects and real estate components of corporate mergers and acquisitions.

Clients rely on Treasa for her practical problem-solving, deep industry knowledge and her ability to coordinate complex, multijurisdictional real estate matters with precision and efficiency.

Housing & Community Development – Treasa assists nonprofit and for-profit developers in obtaining tax credit equity and mortgage financing for mixed-use projects and affordable housing developments throughout Colorado. Her clients include nonprofit housing organizations and local and regional housing authorities seeking to develop or expand affordable housing opportunities. Treasa represents lenders providing pre-development, construction and permanent financing for affordable housing projects across the country.

Sales & Acquisitions – Treasa represents clients in the acquisition and divestiture of real property in nearly all 50 states. Her work includes overseeing real estate diligence for complex corporate transactions, navigating regulatory issues and ensuring that real estate components of large-scale deals are executed seamlessly and efficiently.

M&A Support – Treasa has extensive experience managing national and multinational diligence projects, coordinating cross-disciplinary service teams and guiding clients through high-value, multistate transactions. She leads real estate due diligence and conveyancing efforts for corporate M&A transactions.

Real Estate Finance – Treasa works with national and regional financial institutions and CDFIs to secure real estate backed financing products. She represents borrowers in negotiating business-focused solutions for their debt needs.

Leasing – Treasa counsels both landlords and tenants in negotiating leases for retail, agricultural, office and specialized properties. Her experience includes railroad track, land use and operating leases at regional and national levels; retail leases for high-end shopping centers; and long-term ground leases for mixed-use, residential and retail developments.

Outside of the office, Treasa enjoys giving back to her community through board service and volunteering. She loves spending time with her family, baking, traveling to far off places and trail walking while listening to the latest podcast.

  • Represented a nonprofit developer in the development of an 80+ unit affordable housing community supported through 4% LIHTC/PAB, seller carryback loan and various state and local level grant and loan vehicles.
  • Represented a multijurisdictional housing authority in its special partner participation in an affordable housing development in southern Colorado, including negotiation of project management services and subordinate debt vehicles.
  • Represented CDFI in pre-development loans to a nonprofit developer for a multiphase, affordable housing project in the Midwest.
  • Represented a Canadian multinational convenience store operator in the acquisition of a U.S.-based convenience-store and fuel retailer for $4.4 billion.
  • Represented an agricultural retailer in the acquisition of an agronomy business, including the purchase of 18 ag-retail locations throughout the Midwestern United States.
  • Represented a regional lender in a 10+ site, multistate real estate backed finance transaction, including LOC and permanent debt vehicles to support the business development efforts of a bank client.
  • Represented Colorado retailer in negotiation of 180,000 square foot headquarters lease.
