- Timothy P. Reardon
Clients often describe Tim Reardon’s role as a shareholder in the firm’s Corporate Law and Tax practices as being their “quarterback” – taking on complex assignments, assembling a talented team, creating a successful strategy and helping them achieve their goals.
He has 30+ years of experience serving as a trusted advisor in corporate strategy and in leveraging the legal process to advance practical, creative and cost-efficient solutions. Tim’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and strategic corporate agreements. His background in finance makes him an especially effective legal partner in every aspect of the business life cycle, including startup, capitalization and growth financing, executive compensation, recapitalizations, succession planning and exit strategies.
Tim serves as much more than a service provider to a wide range of middle-market clients in manufacturing, construction, service businesses, computer software and natural resources, among others. His hands-on approach begins with a big-picture analysis of the business and its goals, often built through plant and facility tours and thorough examination of financial records. His goal is a truly collaborative approach to defining a successful strategy and seeing his clients’ dreams come true.
Tim has held a variety of leadership roles at the firm and currently serves on the Board of Directors. He is also responsible for overseeing Reinhart’s Mansfield Rule 5.0 relationship and certification. The Mansfield Rule was inspired by the NFL’s Rooney Rule and is designed to further the advancement and retention of women and minority lawyers within the legal profession. Outside the office, Tim enjoys “all things that end with “ing,” such as running, biking, skiing, traveling and relaxing. He and his wife are empty nesters with four grown children.
