Thomas E. Funk is of counsel in Reinhart's Employee Benefits Practice. In addition to the trust he enjoys from his clients, Tom is held in high regard by the Institute for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, for which he was an instructor training new trustees for 25 years. The Department of Labor also sought out Tom's expertise on the passage of ERISA, recruiting Tom to train Department of Labor professionals.

Tom also speaks to many professional and business groups and is a respected published authority on employee benefit issues, having been a frequent contributor to several editions of The Trustees Handbook (International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans). Tom primarily serves clients in the following areas:
