  3. Sara McNamara

Sara McNamara is an attorney in Reinhart’s Banking and Finance, Business Reorganization and Bankruptcy practices, where she utilizes her diverse skills in commercial lending and insolvency transactions to bring a holistic perspective to client issues.

Sara is practical and efficient in providing legal counsel in relation to corporate governance, capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, asset sales and purchases and finance transactions for both public and private companies, including acquisition financings, asset-based financings and mezzanine financings. She also represents clients in bankruptcy proceedings, workouts, restructurings, receiverships and other troubled debt transactions, including the sale and purchase of distressed businesses.

The breadth of her experience coupled with her finance degree make her especially adept at anticipating issues and drafting documents that protect clients’ interests in the short and long term. She strives to deliver best quality service balanced with practical solutions – even when they may require a non-traditional approach.

Sara is also a member of Reinhart’s Cannabis Law Group, where she helps clients navigate the complex and constantly changing banking and financial regulations that govern hemp and marijuana-related businesses.

She serves on the board of Our Next Generation, a nonprofit organization that provides after-school and summer tutoring and enrichment programs for children. She also frequently speaks to professional organizations on topics related to bankruptcy and insolvency issues.

In her free time, Sara enjoys cooking, exploring new places through travel, and spending time with her husband, daughter and two dogs.
