As an attorney in Reinhart’s Corporate Law Practice, Melissa Zabkowicz is a highly organized and efficient adviser for her clients. She counsels public and closely held companies with commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate governance and entity formation.
She is also a member of the Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Team, where she advises clients on data privacy, security compliance, risk management, privacy policies and incident response plans. Melissa also assists with client responses to data privacy related incidents.
Melissa combines a warm, friendly nature with a results-driven attitude, collaborating with all parties to ensure project deadlines are met. She loves helping her clients close deals and watching them reap the benefits they deserve from companies they’ve worked hard to build and nurture over the years.
Always a leader, Melissa graduated first in her class at the University of Wisconsin Law School. She served as a managing editor on the Wisconsin Law Review, was a competitor and coach on the Wisconsin Moot Court Board, and a competitor on the Wisconsin Mock Trial Team.
She enjoys spending time with her fiance Nate and dog Moose, playing sand volleyball and reading.
