Katherine G. Bills

Katherine Bills’ auto dealership and commercial real estate practice is built around holistic, long-term relationships with clients. As a shareholder in Reinhart’s Real Estate Practice, she works from the firm’s Milwaukee and Chicago offices.

Katherine represents motor vehicle dealerships and their owners in both Illinois and Wisconsin in acquisitions and sales, financing (floor plan and real estate loans), manufacturer negotiations and franchise agreements, consumer fraud complaints, contracts, business and succession planning (including their interplay with estate planning), real estate and leasing matters, and employment contracts. She understands how dealerships operate and the unique issues faced by the industry.

She also represents commercial real estate developers, property management companies and real estate investors in both Illinois and Wisconsin. Katherine advises on developments, acquisitions, sales, partnerships, financing, leasing arrangements, 1031 exchanges, special use permits and sales tax rebate agreements. She brings extra value in her ability to also handle entitlements, zoning issues and tax increment financing.
