Amy Ruhl is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Real Estate Practice, serving as a trusted adviser to developers and borrowers on complex commercial real estate matters such as asset acquisition, development and disposition of real property throughout the country.

Amy represents a variety of clients, including industrial, multifamily, condominium, single-family residential and affordable housing developers, who she assists through the entire development process, from acquisition, construction and leasing to the sale of the assets. 

Leveraging her extensive experience in real estate law to counsel clients on everything from community structure and formation to the development, operation and management of master-planned communities and condominiums, including commercial, residential and mixed-use developments, Amy is also well-versed in compliance with the Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act (CCIOA).

  • Represented a publicly traded, Denver-based real estate investment trust in the negotiation, sale and closing of more than $163 million in sales of 18 apartment complexes (including Section 8) located throughout the United States.

  • Represented a developer in the acquisition of raw land, development of industrial assets thereon, and subsequent sale of such assets in a portfolio sale in excess of $200 million.

  • Represented a publicly traded real estate investment trust in the acquisition of a $423 million portfolio of shopping centers.
