Albert Orr is Chairman, CEO and President of Reinhart and a shareholder in the firm’s Corporate Law Practice. He is a widely experienced and well-known attorney, working with a variety of private equity funds, portfolio companies and privately held businesses on complex mergers, acquisitions and financing.

Al has long-standing client relationships with leading middle market private equity sponsors around the country. He understands that each transaction involves not only a unique cast of characters, but also a unique set of legal challenges and opportunities for success. He is deeply invested in positive outcomes for every client and leverages his extensive transactional background to consistently deliver creative and cost-effective solutions.

Al is accessible, practical and works to ensure that all parties involved in a deal have a positive experience. The relationships he’s cultivated with clients, colleagues and the community are the most rewarding aspect of his work, and he’s empowering a new generation of talented and creative lawyers to continue this tradition of service.

As the firm’s CEO, Al is committed to strengthening its practice groups, leveraging resources to serve clients in innovative ways and supporting attorneys at all levels as they grow their individual practices. He is a strong proponent of the firm’s enterprising culture and is passionate about building a workplace where all can feel fulfilled, authentic and encouraged to develop their own professional skills. After nearly four decades of practice, Al relishes the opportunity to guide the firm’s ongoing dedication to client success and champion its commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Al is also passionate about his service with JobsWork MKE, a nonprofit organization that helps people overcome barriers to long-term employment and become self-sufficient, and Radio Milwaukee, a nonprofit community-supported public radio station.

Away from the office, Al enjoys bicycling and playing golf. He is always looking for new music to explore and enjoys a wide variety of genres.
