Abigail (Abby) McGowan is an attorney in Reinhart’s Trusts and Estates Practice, where she advises clients on the complex issues surrounding trust, estate and fiduciary litigation, from compliance counseling and litigation prevention all the way through trial and appeal.
Abby works collaboratively with clients and all involved parties in matters such as breach of trust, breach of fiduciary duty, undue influence, fiduciary removal and defense, as well as construction and reformation matters. She regularly assists high-net-worth individuals and business owners with their estate planning, business succession planning, and tax-related needs.
A compassionate and detail-oriented attorney, Abby prioritizes building strong client relationships and taking the time to understand their unique needs and concerns. Her meticulous approach involves thorough research and a deep understanding of the case facts. Clients value how Abby negotiates creative and efficient resolutions. She thrives on helping clients navigate even the most complex legal situations, whether it's ensuring peace of mind through estate planning or securing a fair outcome through litigation.
Outside of the office, Abby enjoys cooking and baking as well as running along Lake Michigan and playing volleyball.
