Josh Taggatz is a shareholder and trial attorney in Reinhart’s Litigation Practice, where he focuses on construction and commercial lease disputes. He represents clients ranging from individuals to major corporations and also handles litigation regarding purchase and sale transactions, easements, evictions and condominiums.

Josh’s clients include real estate developers, commercial landlords, contractors and property managers. He works to understand their specific objectives and craft legal strategies to efficiently resolve disputes while meeting those objectives. He approaches every case with a big-picture mindset that includes preparing for trial while also positioning clients for best outcomes in court or through settlement.

Leveraging extensive litigation and procedural knowledge at both the state and federal level, Josh collaborates closely with the firm’s real estate attorneys to strengthen his clients’ position in real estate and property-related cases. He is a proactive, level-headed and logical litigator, excelling at providing advice to help clients avoid future disputes. Clients appreciate his cost-effective, efficient approach to their cases and his ability to help them realize their ultimate goals.

Josh serves on Reinhart’s Ethics Committee and is a frequent presenter on topics such as multijurisdictional practice and conflicts of interest. He is active in the International Association of Defense Council, where he is a member of the Construction Law & Litigation Committee and the Trial Techniques & Tactics Committee.

Josh is competitive by nature and enjoys coaching his children’s sports teams and playing soccer, basketball and golf.
