- James N. Law
James Law is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Litigation Practice, where he serves as a passionate advocate for clients and their businesses. As an experienced member of Reinhart’s highly effective litigation team, James focuses on helping clients meet their goals through patent and intellectual property litigation, product liability claims, civil rights litigation and commercial litigation.
Clients navigating regulatory issues involving product labeling, warranties and California Proposition 65 turn to James for practical advice and solutions. He’s also experienced in antitrust and trade regulation, including defending clients against claims of group boycott and other conspiracies in restraint of trade.
James’ practice spans the country, and his technical knowledge of applicable state laws helps clients make informed, strategic decisions. He’s straightforward, efficient and persuasive, dedicated to providing clients with personalized service and results-oriented representation.
Despite having a severe congenital hearing impairment, James is an excellent communicator and listener, which he has demonstrated through his skillful oral and written advocacy on behalf of his clients. As a result, he’s especially empathetic to others with disabilities or other similar limitations.
Prior to joining Reinhart, James interned for the Hon. Rudolph T. Randa, U.S. District Court, Eastern District in Milwaukee, and the Hon. John L. Coffey, Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. After law school, he completed a judicial clerkship for the Hon. William C. Griesbach of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District in Green Bay.
James is very involved in his children’s school and church activities and enjoys golfing, reading, traveling and spending time outdoors.
