Christopher Rechlicz is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Corporate Law and Banking and Finance Practices, where he brings value to clients through his exceptionally practical approach to finding business-oriented solutions for complex financing transactions.

Chris provides legal counsel on a wide range of matters to banks, financial institutions, mezzanine lenders, equipment finance providers, private equity firms, portfolio companies and other borrowers. He guides his clients through an array of financing transactions such as acquisition, leveraged, secured and unsecured, asset-based, second lien, equipment, mezzanine, private equity, commercial, SBA and real estate. Chris also represents real estate companies in connection with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, life insurance and traditional bank financing.

His previous work experience as a banker who successfully passed the CPA exam gives Chris unique perspective and a deeper knowledge that benefits client matters. He understands that the “tried and true” standard doesn’t work for every situation and enjoys the process of thinking creatively for each new approach. He’s attentive and focused on his clients’ priorities, helping them anticipate and navigate problems. Chris finds his role in helping others succeed meaningful, and he enjoys partnering with clients to tackle tough issues, overcome challenges and meet their goals.

Chris is active in the community, serving on the boards of Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital, Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital Foundation and the Greater Menomonee Falls Foundation. He is an avid runner, having completed five marathons, loves going to Badgers and Packers games with his family and outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and tennis.

  • Represented a manufacturer in connection with a $50 million secured revolving line of credit
  • Represented an SBIC mezzanine lender in an $8 million senior subordinated unsecured debt financing transaction, together with a $1 million equity investment
  • Represented a manufacturer in connection with senior debt financing of $25.5 million
  • Represent a real estate investor in connection with a $15 million real estate loan underwriting through Fannie Mae
  • Represented a lead agent in connection with $28.5 million senior secured debt financing used by a private equity firm to finance an acquisition
  • Represented an SBIC equipment capital provider in connection with a $6 million equipment lease line
  • Represented a private equity firm in connection with senior debt financing of $16 million, a precious metals consignment facility of $7.5 million and mezzanine debt financing of $25 million to finance an acquisition
