Shareholder James Sheriff Featured in Wisconsin Banker Article

James Sheriff is prominently featured in an article titled “Where Have All the De Novos Gone?: Barriers to Entry, Reasons to Overcome Them, and Why It’s Important for The Industry,” published in Wisconsin Banker.  The article examines the reasons underlying the dearth of applications to organize new banks around the country since the recent financial crisis. Sheriff noted that “it’s much easier for a group of people who want to start a bank to buy a bank rather than to form a new one. It’s faster, getting approval is far less complicated, and you also don’t have to go find talent in many cases.”
