MILWAUKEE – The Wisconsin Law Journal will honor Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) attorneys Travis R. Mueller and Leah R. Wyant (Harrand) as "Up and Coming Lawyers" on September 30, 2015. Wyant and Mueller will be recognized, along with other honorees, at a reception at the Harley-Davidson Museum®.

This year's "Up and Coming Lawyers" include a group of 30 attorneys, all with eight years of experience or less, who have shown themselves to be rising stars. Honorees have handled challenging legal issues, taken steps to improve the justice system and given of themselves to their communities. This year's recipients were selected for their initiative and zeal for the practice of law, as well as their commitment to community and the positive effect they have on the lives of those around them.

Mueller is an attorney in the firm's Business Law Practice. His work includes assisting private equity clients in acquiring and selling portfolio companies, and working with corporate clients to draft and negotiate commercial contracts, including supply, distribution and license agreements. Mueller also assists private investment firms with structuring and completing investments and acquisitions with operating partners.

Mueller has become an experienced deal lawyer, routinely assuming primary responsibility for drafting definitive agreements and coordinating the various components of complex transactions. Within the past year, he has played a significant role in bringing several multi-million dollar transactions to a successful conclusion.

Wyant advises clients on a variety of complex real estate matters and regularly assists clients with buying, selling, leasing and financing various properties across the country. Wyant also represents clients on matters relating to land use, zoning and other aspects of entitlements on a wide variety of commercial real estate projects throughout Wisconsin.

Wyant is actively involved in the Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women (WCREW) and a member of its Showcase Committee. She is also a member of the national CREW Network and NAIOP (the Commercial Real Estate Development Association), and serves on the Board of Directors at Meta House.

Both Mueller and Wyant are members of Reinhart's Recruiting Committee, an appointment-only committee that performs interviews for summer associates, new firm associates and lateral associates, both on campus and in Reinhart's Milwaukee office.
