Reinhart's Ferch and Westfall Named 2017 Up and Coming Lawyers

MILWAUKEE – Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) is pleased to announce that attorneys Jarod L. Ferch and Kathryn K. Westfall have been named 2017 "Up and Coming Lawyers" by Wisconsin Law Journal. Ferch and Westfall, along with the other recipients, will be honored at a reception on September 19 at the Harley-Davidson Museum.

This year's "Up and Coming Lawyers" include a group of 35 attorneys, all with eight years of experience or less, who are on the fast track to making a significant impact on the legal profession, and represent determination in legal work, community betterment and improving their own law firms.

Ferch is an attorney in Reinhart’s Health Care Practice and a core member of the Hospice and Palliative Care group. Ferch is experienced working with hospices across the country on a broad range of hospice related regulatory, compliance and business matters. He regularly evaluates and assists hospices with repayment, compliance and regulatory issues including ZPIC and MIC audits. Ferch also assists hospices in reviewing contracts with nursing homes, hospitals, physicians and other vendors.

Westfall is an attorney in Reinhart’s Corporate Law Practice. Westfall's practice focuses on transactional, commercial, corporate and financing matters for both publicly owned and private companies. She provides legal counsel to buyers, sellers, issuers and borrowers with mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions and capital-raising transactions. Westfall also regularly advises clients on general corporate and business laws matters including best practices for manufacturing, supply, distribution, production and other agreements.
