- U.S. Corporate Issues for Foreign Businesses
Reinhart hosted a webinar series – recording and handout – U.S. Legal Issues for Foreign Businesses in the United States designed to introduce foreign businesses and their legal counsel to the legal issues that are most likely to be important to their U.S. operations. Our attorneys, who span a wide range of legal disciplines, provided a practical approach to these legal issues to help foreign businesses succeed in the United States. The series was hosted by Robert J. Misey, Jr., Chair of Reinhart's International Practice.
The first topic in the series was U.S. Corporate Issues for Foreign Businesses, which was presented by Adam R. Konrad. Adam discussed various corporate issues including avenues into the U.S. markets (agents, distributors, joint ventures, etc.), terms and conditions, restrictions on foreign ownership, and regulatory authorities, such as OFAC and CPSC.
