Shawn Lovell Presents at IPT Property Tax Symposium

Shareholder Shawn Lovell co-presented “Appraisal Review – Lessons Learned for Credible Valuations” on November 4, at the 2025 Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT) Property Tax Symposium in Indian Wells, California. In the presentation, Lovell explored recurring issues in property tax appraisal reports – on both sides – and discussed how attorneys, appraisal experts and tax representatives can better identify, address and prevent these issues.

Lovell is a member of the firm’s Property Tax Litigation Team – the largest property tax litigation practice in Wisconsin. He primarily handles property tax disputes but is also experienced in litigating real estate issues involving commercial leasing, evictions and contractual disputes. Lovell is tenacious in helping clients resolve disputes with various taxing authorities, including property tax, personal property tax and room tax. He provides legal representation to a wide range of clients, from individuals to Fortune 50 companies.
