Reinhart shareholder Jennifer D’Amato recently authored an article for Blue magazine titled, “Tax Increases May Bring Rough Waters for Wealth Planning.” With the current estate and gift tax law ending at the beginning of 2026, Jennifer shares her thoughts on two new bills, introduced by the Senate, that may erode protections and accelerate the current estate and gift tax timeline.

Jennifer R. D’Amato is the chair of the firm’s Trusts and Estates Practice, and co-chair of the Fiduciary Litigation Service Group. She is also a former member of the firm’s Board of Directors. Jennifer’s clients consist of closely held business owners, wealthy families and private and public charities. Jennifer’s practice includes business succession planning, designing leveraged gift techniques, generation-skipping transfer tax planning, resolving will, trust and tax controversy matters, fiduciary litigation and estate and trust administration.
