MILWAUKEE – Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) is pleased to announce that attorney Shannon West has joined the board of directors of SHARP Literacy, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing supplemental learning opportunities for underserved students. She previously served on the organization’s young professionals board, and her role with the organization extends Reinhart’s long-standing support for the organization.
As a member of the board of directors, West will contribute her legal knowledge and community commitment to support SHARP’s mission of improving educational outcomes and promoting literacy. The organization strives to strengthen critical thinking, science and math knowledge and appreciation for the arts in their students, helping to shrink the opportunity gap between them and their more affluent peers.
“I am honored to join SHARP Literacy’s board of directors,” said West. “Education is foundational to opportunity, and I look forward to helping expand SHARP’s efforts to help all students succeed.”
West is an attorney in Reinhart’s Trusts and Estates Practice, where she represents clients in with trust, estate and fiduciary litigation, including matters involving breach of trust, breach of fiduciary duty, undue influence, fiduciary removal and defense, and construction and reformation matters. She also assists high-net-worth individuals and business owners with estate planning and tax-related needs. Her empathetic nature and big-picture perspective help clients feel comfortable and informed as they navigate complex issues.
