- Shannon West, Abby McGowan Detail Estate Planning Safeguards in Lake Country Living
Attorneys Shannon West and Abby McGowan discuss the importance of having a well-crafted estate plan, especially in light of the rise in post-death disputes in recent years, in the October issue of Lake Country Living.
The article, “Post-Death Disputes Are on the Rise. Is Your Estate Plan Ready?,” examines common sources of conflict with estate plans after someone dies, such as challenges to the validity of the planning documents, disagreements on plan administration and pre-death decisions. West and McGowan emphasize how proactive planning and regular reviews can minimize or prevent these disputes.
