Scott Hansen Receives Lifetime Achievement Award from the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association

MILWAUKEE – Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) is pleased to announce that Scott Hansen has received the 2023 Judge Myron L. Gordon Lifetime Achievement Award from the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association, presented at its annual meeting at the Saint Kate Hotel on May 25. The award recognizes Hansen’s contributions to Milwaukee’s federal court bench and bar, his years of skillful, professional and strategic advocacy, and his mentorship of younger lawyers. 

“Scott is recognized throughout the legal community for his exceptional leadership and abilities as an attorney,” said Reinhart CEO Albert Orr. “His commitment to both the community and his clients is exemplary, and we are proud to see him honored for his many years of service.”

Hansen is a member of the American Law Institute and has served as president of the UW Madison Law School Board of Visitors, the UW Madison Law School Foundation, the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association and the Thomas Fairchild American Inn of Court. He is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association and the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section and Forum on Franchising. In 2017, the Milwaukee Bar Association recognized him as its Lawyer of the Year. Best Lawyers in America has recognized him as Antitrust Lawyer of the Year and Franchise Lawyer of the Year in Wisconsin.
