Sara Rapkin will be a featured panelist at the Milwaukee Bar Association’s “The Lights Are On: Dark Store Theory After Lowe’s v. City of DelavanCLE-eligible event on Thursday, January 23. The timely discussion will explore the implications of the recent Wisconsin Supreme Court ruling for property tax assessments, focusing on the use of vacant and "dark" store properties as comparables, the distinctions between different property types and the presumption of correctness for municipal assessments. The event will be held both in person and virtually.
