  3. Reinhart's Narrai Receives American Advertising Federation Honor

MILWAUKEE – Andy Narrai, Director of Marketing at Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart), has received the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Barton A. Cummings Gold Medal Award.

The annual award recognizes distinguished volunteer service to the advertising industry through the AAF. Narrai accepted the award at the AAF's ADMERICA! national conference in Boca Raton, Florida on May 29.

Approaching two decades of continuous volunteer involvement with the AAF, Narrai currently serves as Treasurer on the AAF National Board of Directors and is a member of the board's Executive Committee. He also is the AAF's Compensation Committee Secretary and an Advisory Council Member of the Institute for Advertising Ethics.

"Andy has been instrumental in the management of AAF finances," says AAF President and CEO James Edmund Datri. "The AAF has seen tremendous growth over the last five years as a direct result of Andy's talent, leadership, work, dedication and belief in the Federation."

The award is named for the late Barton A. Cummings, who was CEO of Compton Advertising, now Saatchi & Saatchi. Cummings' career was dedicated to industry service and advancing the social and economic values of advertising. The award was presented by Ann Iverson, principal of Creating Selling Opportunities and Bart Cummings' daughter.

"Andy more than meets the criteria for this great recognition," said Iverson in her presentation. "Among his many talents, he has displayed trust, gusto and guts under pressure, all to achieve meaningful results for the American Advertising Federation."

"We are thrilled to have Andy on our team," says Jerome M. Janzer, Reinhart CEO. "He has extensive knowledge and insight into marketing and advertising strategy, and brings tremendous energy and enthusiasm to every initiative he undertakes."

Narrai has served in advertising leadership roles in Milwaukee-area media, agency and corporate settings. He joined the Advertising Club of Milwaukee in 1995 and held several leadership roles, including club president. He has since served as Governor of AAF District 8, AAF Central Region Chair and Chair of the AAF Council of Governors. In those roles he has been a driving force behind a number of AAF initiatives.
