Reinhart Welcomes Two New Associates

MILWAUKEE – Two new associates have joined Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. in its Milwaukee office.

Douglas J. Huenink is an associate in Reinhart’s Corporate Law Practice. Prior to joining Reinhart, Doug worked in the mergers and acquisitions transaction services group of a Big Four accounting firm. While there, he primarily focused on providing tax due diligence and tax structuring services to private equity investors and public companies in connection with both buy-side and sell-side transactions.

Huenink earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School, and his B.B.A, summa cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Brent A. Simerson is an associate in Reinhart’s Litigation Practice. Brent focuses his practice on product, health care and governmental liability. He has experience serving the needs of a variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction, engineering, architectural, health care and insurance, as well as various government entities. In addition to his skills in the courtroom and before regulatory bodies, Brent has been recognized for his appellate practice, achieving several landmark victories for his clients in both state and federal courts of appeals.

Simerson earned his J.D. from Marquette University Law School, and his B.S. from the University of Illinois-Champaign.
