  3. Reinhart Welcomes Shareholder Treasa Burke

DENVER – Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) is pleased to announce that Treasa Burke has joined the firm as a shareholder in its Real Estate Practice, where she brings a well-honed combination of legal insight and project management to bear when helping clients successfully navigate complex real estate transactions. Before joining Reinhart, Burke practiced at an AmLaw 100 firm.

“I’ve had the privilege of working on projects with Treasa for many years and have always been impressed by her unwavering commitment to clients,” said Joe Shumow, Reinhart’s Real Estate Practice Group leader. “She approaches each matter with a deep understanding of each client’s goals and delivers practical, strategic solutions. She is truly a lawyer’s lawyer—steady, insightful and dedicated. We are fortunate to welcome her to our firm, where I know she will make an immediate and lasting impact.”

Based in Denver, Burke delivers strategic, business-driven solutions for clients across a wide range of industries, including affordable housing, agriculture, health care, multifamily and financial services. She focuses her practice on housing and community development, assisting nonprofit and for-profit developers in obtaining tax credit equity and mortgage financing for mixed-use projects and affordable housing developments throughout Colorado. Her clients include nonprofit housing organizations and local and regional housing authorities seeking to develop or expand affordable housing opportunities. Burke also represents lenders providing pre-development, construction and permanent financing for affordable housing projects across the country.

Her practice also involves counseling clients with sales and acquisitions, leasing transactions, development projects and real estate components of corporate mergers and acquisitions.

“We are thrilled to welcome Treasa to our Denver office,” said Amy Ruhl, co-managing shareholder of Reinhart’s Denver office. “We have had the opportunity to partner with Treasa on transactions in the past, and she is not only an exceptional attorney who has been committed to making an impact on the affordable housing sector throughout her career, but also a truly wonderful person whose collaborative spirit and professionalism make her a pleasure to work with. She will further elevate our already strong affordable housing practice, and we are delighted to have her here.”
