- Reinhart to Host Reception for Marquette Multicultural Law Student Groups 2014
MILWAUKEE – Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) is reinforcing its commitment to diversity in the legal profession by hosting a reception and networking event for the multicultural law school students of Marquette University.
Members of Marquette's Black, Hispanic and Asian Law Student Associations—in addition to other multicultural law students—are invited to the event, which will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 25 at Reinhart's Milwaukee headquarters, 1000 N. Water St.
The event will offer students the unique opportunity to network with practicing attorneys and build mentor relationships that will be invaluable to them throughout the course of their academic careers and beyond.
"It is our pleasure to be able to connect with the future of our profession at such a pivotal time in their education," said Mark A. Cameli, a shareholder in the firm's Litigation Practice and chair of its Diversity Committee. "Networking is immensely important in the development of an attorney's career, and we're happy to help facilitate those relationships for the next generation of talented lawyers."
Reinhart is proud to continue its support of multicultural law student groups at Marquette and other high-profile universities around the country.
"We're excited to offer this unique event to Marquette's multicultural law school students," said Isioma Nwabuzor, immediate past president of Marquette's Black Law Students Association. "Events like this help further our mission of fostering social, academic and professional development of students of color, while also recognizing and celebrating the contributions that these diverse groups make to the community."
