Milwaukee, WI – Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) is pleased to announce that shareholder Brittany Lopez Naleid has been named by the Milwaukee Business Journal as one of its 2021 40 Under 40 honorees.
Now in its 28th year, 40 Under 40 recipients are chosen by Business Journal reporters and editors from a pool of hundreds of nominations. The recipients represent business and community leaders, throughout southeastern Wisconsin, who have shown outstanding professional achievement and leadership in their communities.
“We are very proud to learn of Brittany’s recognition from the Milwaukee Business Journal as one of its 40 Under 40 honorees,” says Reinhart CEO, Albert Orr. “She is an exceptional attorney who embodies all that this honor represents. Brittany’s commitment to service on behalf of Reinhart's clients is matched only by her dedicated advocacy for the underserved in our community.”
Brittany is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Labor and Employment and Litigation practices where she assists clients in prosecuting and defending legal claims in administrative proceedings, state and federal court and through arbitration. She works with employers on a variety of claims, including employment discrimination and retaliation, occupational safety, wrongful termination, harassment cases and shareholder disputes. Brittany also provides counsel to employers on workplace-related issues and drafts employment agreements, separation agreements, non-competition agreements and other employment-related documents. In addition to her work representing employers, she frequently litigates matters involving fiduciaries, beneficiaries and other parties involved in will, trust and estate-related disputes.
As part of Reinhart’s pro bono program, Brittany regularly represents victims of domestic abuse in securing restraining orders against perpetrators. Deeply committed to giving back to her community, she is actively involved with the Milwaukee Justice Center at the Milwaukee County Courthouse where she provides free legal advice in regard to civil and family matters. Brittany also serves as a member of SHARP Literacy’s Board of Directors, chairs the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Diversity Clerkship Selection Committee, and is a previous member of the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association.
