Reinhart Names John Rejowski 2024 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year

MILWAUKEE – Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) is proud to announce that John Rejowski has been named the firm’s 2024 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year.

Rejowski was chosen as this year’s honoree due to his significant participation in Reinhart’s pro bono program and outstanding service work, including mentoring students in the Pathways High mock trial program and providing critical legal representation to victims of domestic abuse during complex injunction proceedings.

"John’s work has been a cornerstone of the pro bono program in the past year," said Reinhart CEO Albert Orr. "From mentoring students to advocating for vulnerable individuals, John embodies the spirit of giving back through his dedication to advocacy and serving those who need it most."

An attorney in Reinhart’s Litigation Practice, Rejowski represents clients in a variety of litigation matters, including cases involving breaches of contract, product liability and shareholder disputes. Known as a tireless advocate for his clients, he is well-regarded for his strong ties to the community, his excellent relationships with judges and opposing counsel, and his ability to identify key issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Rejowski was an Assistant District Attorney at the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office for five years, where he established an impressive track record of success both inside and outside the courtroom. Owing to a career spanning both criminal and civil legal arenas. John leverages his extensive knowledge and experience to see even the most challenging matters through to successful fruition.

Reinhart initiated its Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award program in 2009 to recognize the exceptional efforts of attorneys within the firm who demonstrate a long-standing and devoted commitment to pro bono work.
