MILWAUKEE – Jerome M. Janzer, CEO of Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c., announced that attorneys, Bryant E. Ferguson, Brittany Lopez Naleid, Joshua D. Taggatz and John K. Tokarz have been named firm shareholders.

Reinhart’s new shareholders and their areas of focus are listed below:

Bryant E. Ferguson is a shareholder in Reinhart's Employee Benefits Practice where he focuses on advising large institutional investors in connection with their alternative investments. Ferguson advises a wide variety of institutional investors including government pension plans and overseas investors. As part of his representation of large institutional investors, he reviews partnership agreements, private placement memoranda and other offering and disclosure documents as well as negotiates investment terms in connection with these investments. Ferguson has experience with separate accounts and single-investor funds arrangements in a broad spectrum of asset classes. In addition, he represents buyers and sellers of private fund interests in the secondary market.

Ferguson earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Marquette University Law School.

Brittany Lopez Naleid is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Labor and Employment Practice where she has developed a practice focused on defending employers involved with employment discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment cases and shareholder disputes. Naleid has experience reviewing employment-related documents including employee handbooks, workplace policies and employment agreements, as well as employment-related immigration matters and non-emigrant visa petitions. In addition, she frequently represents low-income clients as part of Reinhart’s pro bono program.

Naleid earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Joshua D. Taggatz is a shareholder in Reinhart's Litigation Practice where he provides legal representation to a wide range of clients ranging from individuals to major corporations. Taggatz handles cases involving real estate disputes, condominium issues, business transactions and foreclosure matters. He works collaboratively with Reinhart's Real Estate attorneys to combine his litigation and procedural knowledge with the expertise of the Real Estate team, an approach that strengthens his clients' real estate and property-related cases. Taggatz also has experience representing hospices in Medicare and Medicaid audits, and works to challenge overpayment determinations and protect hospices against adverse governmental determinations.

Taggatz earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School.

John K. Tokarz is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Corporate Law, Food and Beverage and Institutional Investor Services practices whose practice whose practice focuses on complex transactions. From startups to publicly traded corporations, Tokarz provides a full range of transactional and strategic support to clients with matters involving mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, divestures and securities offerings. In addition to his transactional work, Tokarz maintains a general corporate practice advising closely held and family-owned businesses on matters involving entity formation, contracting, governance and other day-to-day legal and business issues.

Tokarz earned his J.D., summa cum laude (first in his class), from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
