Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. Mourns the Loss of Shareholder Steven D. Huff, Who Died on May 22, 2019

MILWAUKEE – Steven D. Huff was the co-chair of Reinhart’s Employee Benefits Practice where for he provided exceptional legal counsel to a wide range of clients across the nation, including corporations, public plans, ESOPs and qualified plans. He was a deeply trusted adviser for more than four decades on issues involving the design and implementation of a broad range of retirement, health, deferred compensation, and similar ERISA and public plans.

Highly regarded by clients and peers alike, Huff was awarded honors by Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA, The Legal 500, and Wisconsin Super Lawyers. He also received Martindale-Hubble's highest peer review rating for legal ability and ethical standards.

In addition to being a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and Milwaukee Bar Association, Huff served as an officer of the National Employee Benefits Institute, the National Employer Ownership Institute and the Wisconsin Chapter of the ESOP Association. A prolific speaker and mentor, he was a recognized authority on employee benefits law.
