Reinhart shareholders Michael Goller, Kristina Somers and Robert Misey took part as featured speakers at the 2025 Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) Tax Conference on November 10-11, 2025, at the Brookfield Conference Center. The WICPA Tax Conference is a premiere annual event for tax professionals looking for updates on important issues and insights in the field.
- Goller’s presentation, a general session on “Hot Tax Practice & Procedure & Ethics Issues & Their Impact on the Practitioner,” covered timely tax and ethics issues for tax practitioners and focused on the latest “hot” IRS practice, procedure and ethics issues.
- Somers presented her 13th annual “Wisconsin Tax Update,” in which she shared the latest updates on Wisconsin case law and reviewed legislative and administrative developments from the past year.
- Misey led the breakout session “International Tax Changes in the Big Beautiful Bill: Bye-Bye, QBAI and Welcome Back, Credits!” In it, he focused on changes in international tax provisions within the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
Goller is a shareholder in the Tax and Corporate Law practice, leveraging his more than three decades of experience, accounting degree and strong relationships within the IRS to be an especially effective tax lawyer. He assists clients with federal and state tax controversy, tax litigation and tax planning.
Somers is a shareholder in Reinhart's Tax, Litigation and Tax-Exempt Organizations practices, where she advocates on behalf of clients involved in tax controversy disputes in Wisconsin and other states. Somers also offers planning strategies to minimize taxes for businesses operating in Wisconsin and those with multi-state operations.
Misey is a shareholder in Reinhart's Tax and Corporate Law practices and is chair of the firm's International Practice. He serves a wide range of clients involved in an array of industries such as manufacturing, distribution, securities, sport and entertainment with international taxation and tax controversy matters.
