Shareholder Phil O’Brien has been named to the national Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), the advocacy arm of the American Cancer Society.

O’Brien has been a long-time volunteer with ACS, including serving as chair of Reinhart’s annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer team since 2010 and as a member of the ACS Wisconsin Leadership Board since 2011. He currently serves as the ACS CAN Ambassador Constituent Lead for Wisconsin’s Congressional District 4 where he guides legislative advocates in the district.

“Phil has been a dedicated advocate for the eradication of cancer since he joined Reinhart more than 20 years ago,” Reinhart CEO Jerry Janzer said. “He has shown time and again his passion for making the connections to find the necessary funding research requires to finally bring an end to this insidious disease.”

O’Brien is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Employee Benefits practice where he focuses primarily on Taft-Hartley clients across the country. The firm held a reception in November 2019 honoring O’Brien’s appointment.
