Pete Rosene presented at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans New Trustees Institute – Level I: Core Concepts Conference, February 10-11 in Orlando, FL. He shared his insights in two presentations: “Trustee Responsibility and Legal Environment,” focusing on fiduciary duties under ERISA and effective trustee meetings, and “Overview of Health and Welfare Plans,” addressing plan design, funding and recent legal developments in health and welfare programs.

Rosene is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Employee Benefits Practice and Multiemployer Plan (Taft-Hartley) Team, specializing in assisting clients with all aspects of ERISA plan compliance. He advises in federal fiduciary law, including investment contracts and investment monitoring, all aspects of federal health care compliance, pension plan design/compliance issues and vendor contracting.
