- Michael Goller’s 2026 Tax Issues Article Featured in On Balance Magazine
Shareholder Michael Goller authored, “Hot Tax Practice, Procedure and Ethics Issues for 2026 and Beyond,” for the May/June 2026 issue of On Balance magazine, a Wisconsin Institute of CPAs (WICPA) publication.
In the article, Goller discusses how recent developments have reshaped the tax practice environment, such as the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo. He sheds light on what current and emerging issues are important for practitioners, which practice traps to avoid and what will be the next tax hill to climb.
Technical mastery of the Internal Revenue Code will be required for effective tax practices going forward, according to Goller, who also presented his analysis on these topics during a CPE session for the WICPA on May 20.
Goller, a member of Reinhart’s Tax and Corporate practices, has more than three decades of experience, and served as the Firm’s Tax Department Chair for more than 10 years. His clients range from large public corporations to mid-sized, private businesses. He is the co-author of Federal Tax Practice and Procedure (CCH).
