  3. Labor & Employment Minute: Religious Harassment

Welcome to the second edition of the Reinhart Labor & Employment Minute hosted by Shareholder Rob Driscoll. In this episode, Rob addresses an often overlooked form of harassment – religious harassment – which the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) released detailed guidance on this year. Religious harassment comes in two different types: religious coercion and hostile work environment harassment. Rob explains that avoiding religious discrimination provides a special problem for employers because they may have to accommodate an employee’s right to religious expression while at the same time preventing religious harassment.
