MILWAUKEE – Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) is pleased to announce that Shareholder Kelsey Berns has joined the Children’s Wisconsin Planned Giving Council.

The Council is a dedicated group of professionals from across Wisconsin who partner with Children’s Wisconsin to support its mission through legacy and estate giving. Council members include attorneys, financial advisers, accountants, trust officers and other professionals committed to helping individuals and families create meaningful, lasting impact through planned gifts.

The Council’s mission is to promote charitable estate planning and encourage legacy giving to ensure that future generations of children receive the exceptional care, support and resources they need to thrive—regardless of their circumstances. Through seminars and other educational opportunities, members address ways to assure your financial needs while investing in Children’s Wisconsin programs that enhance the well-being of children.

Berns is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Trust and Estates Practice, advising high-net-worth individuals and families on estate planning matters, such as complex wealth transfers, charitable giving and tax strategies. She works closely with business owners on succession planning strategies designed to maximize value and minimize income and wealth transfer taxes.
