James Burrows Named Reinhart's Pro Bono Attorney of the Year

MILWAUKEE – Jerome M. Janzer, CEO of Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart), announces that James M. Burrows has been named Reinhart's 2018 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year. Each year, the firm recognizes a Reinhart attorney who best demonstrates its commitment to serve those otherwise unable to obtain needed legal services.

He was recognized for being a senior member of the firm’s Domestic Abuse Injunction Program where he routinely volunteers to provide free representation to low-income domestic abuse victims in injunction cases. In addition, Burrows is a regular participant at the Marquette Legal Aid Clinic, a volunteer at the Milwaukee Justice Center, and has been a major participant in Reinhart’s Prisoner Civil Rights Program, both as a lead attorney and as mentor to younger attorneys.

Burrows is an attorney in the firm’s Litigation Practice specializing in intellectual property litigation. In addition to his intellectual property work, he has successfully advocated for clients in a broad range of contract-related matters.

Burrows was honored during a luncheon on December 12, at Reinhart’s Milwaukee office.
