- Ishikawa and Jones Named Reinhart Pro Bono Attorneys of the Year
MILWAUKEE – Jerome M. Janzer, CEO of Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart), announces that Jesse S. Ishikawa and Robert S. Jones have been named Reinhart Pro Bono Attorneys of the Year.
In 2009, Reinhart initiated its Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award program. The award is presented annually to recognize the exceptional efforts of attorneys who demonstrate a long-standing and devoted commitment to pro bono work.
"Giving back to the communities where we live and work is very important to our firm," says Janzer. "We are proud to work with attorneys like Jesse and Bob, who have invested their personal time to assist the legal needs of those in the community who otherwise might not have access to legal assistance."
Ishikawa, a shareholder in Reinhart's Real Estate practice, works in the firm's Madison office. Ishikawa was selected for his substantial efforts on behalf of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, in addition to his work for other pro bono clients.
Comments Ishikawa, "There aren't many opportunities for a commercial real estate lawyer to do pro bono work, so I take them whenever I can. I'm honored to have worked with the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art and contributed to a community that's been so good to me throughout my career."
Jones, a Litigation associate in Reinhart's Milwaukee office, was chosen for his continued dedication to pro bono work on behalf of domestic abuse victims and indigent persons facing family law issues.
"I am honored by this award and value the pro bono work I've been able to do for people who are trying to get some control over their lives," says Jones.
Ishikawa and Jones were honored during a luncheon at Reinhart's Milwaukee office on Tuesday, November 22.
