On Wednesday, April 27, Reinhart hosted a complimentary lunch presentation: H-1B: What Employers Need to Know to Ensure Their Records and Practices Comply With H-1B Laws. This seminar/webinar was presented by Benjamin T. Kurten, Chair of Reinhart's Immigration Law Group and a shareholder in the firm's Labor and Employment and International Practices.

Employers with H-1B workers on their payroll must maintain specific files and documents in order to respond to potential government audits regarding their employment of the H-1B workers. Failure to comply with these rules can lead to severe consequences, but there is no reason to put yourself at risk. Preparing and maintaining the required files and documents is not as difficult as one might think. This seminar provided a comprehensive review of the H-1B public access file and other document compliance rules related to the employment of H-1B professional workers.
