Shareholder Debby Tomczyk will be a featured panelist at the Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA) 2025 Governor’s Conference on Economic Development on Friday, February 7. The panel session, “‘But for’ TIF: Lessons from the Past, Vision for the Future," will focus on Tax Incremental Financing (TIF), examining how this powerful tool has significantly impacted the state's economic landscape and how it may continue to do so in the years ahead. WEDA’s Governor’s Conference is an annual event that gathers hundreds of business leaders and development professionals, emphasizing education and networking to promote economic growth and strengthen communities across the state.

Tomczyk is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Real Estate Practice, chair of the firm’s Development Group, a member of the Board of Directors and a past chair of the firm’s Real Estate Practice. She has extensive experience negotiating incentives with local and state governments and is known for her collaborative, win/win methods. Additionally, Tomczyk handles issues related to annexation, zoning, land use, eminent domain, licensing, tax incremental financing and other special financing districts. She regularly works closely with developers, municipalities, businesses, individuals and taxing jurisdictions to help shape the landscape of our region, and her deep commitment to the success of those projects has been a hallmark of her practice.
