Dan Kattman to Lead IP Laws and Content Creation Class; Share as Panelist at Overland Expo West

Dan Kattman will be a speaker at Overland Expo West, the world’s premier event dedicated to self-reliant overland travel, in Flagstaff, Arizona, May 19-21. He will be featured on various panels to share his legal insights on content creation for social media, negotiating sponsorship and endorsement deals and best practices on overland travel.

Kattman will teach a class on laws affecting social media influencers and content creators, in which he will delve into laws related to intellectual property ownership, the use of artificial intelligence in content creation, media licensing, content distribution and clearances and releases from third parties.  He will also teach a class on negotiating sponsorship and endorsement deals.

An avid hiker, motorcyclist and overlander, Kattman is not your typical practicing attorney. When he’s not traveling the world in search of adventure, he’s advising filmmakers, social media influencers and corporations on legal issues related to intellectual property, brand management, advertising matters, endorsement and sponsorship deals, software and technology matters, copyright law and more.
