Block and Deisinger Named "Leaders in the Law"

MILWAUKEE – Jerome M. Janzer, CEO of Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart), announced that Bruce T. Block and Fran Deisinger were named "Leaders in the Law" by the Wisconsin Law Journal. "Leaders in the Law" recognizes and honors Wisconsin's top legal professionals. Block and Deisinger, along with other recipients, were honored on February 27 at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center.

Block has been practicing law since 1979. He is a shareholder and co-chair of Reinhart's Real Estate Practice and a member of the firm's Board of Directors. Block's clients include private developers and investors, institutional developers and investors, lenders, municipalities and community development authorities. He has significant experience in a broad range of real estate matters including land use planning, zoning, eminent domain, historic tax credits, multiple and mixed use ownership structures, tax incremental financing and leasing, construction and design contracts. Bruce's extensive contacts in both public and private sectors are key factors in his ability to navigate complex transactions to successful and creative conclusions.

A frequent speaker on real estate matters, land use and zoning and tax incremental financing, Block is widely recognized in the business community as a knowledgeable and practical lawyer with the ability and relationships to get things done.

Deisinger is Reinhart's General Counsel. He is also a vice president of the firm and a shareholder in its Litigation Practice, which he joined in 1982. In addition, Deisinger acts as chair of the firm's Ethics Committee. Deisinger has been successful not only as a trial lawyer, but also as a creative negotiator and advisor able to design and achieve effective and practical solutions for his clients. He represents fiduciaries, beneficiaries and family members in trust, estate and guardianship litigation and also represents lawyers and law firms in ethics and liability matters.

In service to the legal profession, Deisinger is a past president of the Milwaukee Bar Association and the current President of the Milwaukee Bar Association Foundation. He frequently gives seminars to lawyers on legal ethics issues.
